Early Bird Deadline: August 4 – $50 (includes meals)
Regular Registration: $65 (includes meals)
Registration Deadline: September 5 at midnight
No walk-ins will be allowed
Attendees are responsible for making their own hotel reservations
Speaker
Rev. Teresa “Terri” Hord Owens
General Minister and President of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ)
Rev. Terri Hord Owens is a trailblazer: the first woman of African descent to lead a mainline denomination in the U.S. and Canada. Elected in 2017 and re-elected in2023, she champions anti-racism, reconciliation, and inclusive leadership across the Church. A passionate speaker, her focus areas include spiritual development, cultural intelligence, and justice-centered ministry.
A graduate of both Harvard University and University of Chicago Divinity School, Hord Owens has strong roots in Illinois, having served in multiple capacities in Illinois where she still lives. She is excited to join this historic gathering of celebrating the new thing God is doing in Michigan and Illinois & Wisconsin.

Meals
The following meals are included in the cost of Registration for all participants: Friday dinner and Saturday box lunch choice.

Children's Meals Information
Registered Children under 10 will be provided with a plated dinner on Friday night from a specialized children’s menu. The menu, including options to choose from, will be sent out in advance for you to make selections for your child.

- 8:30 AM- 4:30 PM: Registration Check-in
- All workshop attendees are required to check in at the registration table upon arrival.
- 9:00 AM–3:30 PM: Ethics & PRAR Workshops (separate fee & registration)
- 10:00 AM–12:00 PM: Workshops
- 1:00 PM–3:00 PM: Workshops
- 5:00 PM: Dinner will begin promptly at 5:00 PM. We ask that all attendees be seated by 4:45 PM to allow for a timely start.
- 6:30 PM: Worship
Saturday, October 4

- 1:30 PM: Closing Worship with Communion

Childcare
Available for children ages 4 through 5th grade
Must be potty-trained
A Health and Release form will be sent via email to the guradian of the registered child. Finalization of the childcare request will be contingent upon the form having been signed and returned. Details will be provided in the email.
Hours
Friday: 6:00–9:00 PM
Saturday: 8:30 AM–12:30 PM
Play space within the worship area and a mother’s room will be available for younger children during worship and plenary session.
All childcare providers are background-checked and trained in CPR and mandated reporting.
Outreach Project
Support local congregations by assembling hygiene kits to be distributed by Parkway Gardens Christian Church and the Christian Church of Villa Park.
Please bring travel-sized items:

- Monetary donations also accepted on the registration form.
Voting Delegates
Clergy shall not be included in the total number of delegates representing each church.
CCIW
All Clergy with standing; active, retired, inactive.
Each congregation is eligible to have five (5) voting delegates selected by the church.
You are required to note on the registration if you a voting delegate or attending as a non voting member of CCIW.
CCMR
All Clergy with standing; active, retired, inactive, and Regional Board members.
Each congregation is eligible to have 3 voting representatives selected by the church for actions taken during the Regional Assembly business session.
In addition, congregations with membership above 100 is eligible for one more voting representative per additional hundred.
You are required to note on the registration if you a voting delegate or attending as a non voting member of CCMR.
